USQ SPRINGFIELD CAMPUS
This design and construction development comprises the provision of a civil engineering laboratory including associated common services and kitchen area, student offices, meeting room and post graduates training rooms. The detailed design requirements incorporated into the building architectural layouts and surrounding infrastructure provided a modern and spacious addition to the University’s campus. The structure consisted of a concrete slab on ground with block walls and structural steel roof. Finishes included aluminium joinery items, panelling and painted render externally. The building was carefully designed to provide aspects of the building scope for future expansion, with the inclusion of a suspended concrete deck within the roof space of the building.
